With a nod to historic alphabet samplers, Rebecca Ringquist of Dropcloth Samplers designed this pattern with cake sprinkles and confetti in mind. She stitched in chaotic blend of colors, but you can choose your own palette and stitches.
This is an excellent beginner project because it can be completed using only the running stitch. However, you can choose to mix it up and use a variety of stitches (bullion knots would be stunning)! You provide your own threads (Dropcloth Samplers uses a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss), needles, and hoop. The ABC Sprinkle Sampler measures approximately 9 in. x 11 in.
