"Nishiki" style is the type often used for Obi belts of Japanense traditional clothing, Kimono. 
 
This thread has subtle metallic colours and is resistant to frictrion, good for not only stitching but also making tatting lace and tassels.

Precautions for Use
Do not use this thread with sewing machines.
Do not iron.
Wash with pH neutral detergent when sweat or dirt attached to this thread.
Do not use alkaline detergent (col.1, 5-17, 24-33, 101-112 and 301-306).
Store this thread in a cool place away from heat and humidity.
